Der Name des bewegungssensitiven Controllers von Sony ist weder Gem noch Arc, sondern ganz einfach PlayStation Move. Dies gab der Hersteller auf der aktuell stattfindenden GDC 2010 bekannt. SCEA-Präsident Jack Tretton gab auch bekannt, dass der Controller als Bundle mit PlayStation Eye erscheinen wird und für weniger als USD 100 angeboten werden soll. Ebenfalls geplant sind Hardwarebundles mit einer PlayStation 3 und der Kamera. Erscheinen soll PlayStation Move mit einer Vielzahl von dafür entwickelten Games schon im Herbst 2010. Jedem Bundle sollen ausserdem Demos von Spielen beiliegen, die den Controller unterstützen.
